Weather Alert

Severe Weather Likely Early This Evening

  • Updated
  • 0
A large and dynamic storm system that brought heavy thunderstorms and severe weather to Acadiana this evening has moved out of the region allowing for much quieter conditions to prevail for the rest of the night.

In its wake, a few scattered showers and an isolated rumble of thunder will be possible through early Wednesday morning, but severe weather concerns will be nonexistent. Skies will slowly clear out midday Wednesday as cooler and drier air funnels into the region. As a result, high temperatures will be in the 50s with sunny skies through the rest of the week, with lows in the 30s.

Tonight: Scattered showers and isolated thunder. Breezy. Low: 45.
Wednesday: Lingering AM showers. Partial PM clearing. Breezy. High: 53.
Wednesday night: Mostly clear and cool. Low: 36.
Thursday: Sunny skies. High: 56.
