RAYNE, La. (KADN) - A Rayne man is facing charges following a Monday afternoon shooting in the town.
According to Chief Carroll Stelly, Rayne police were notified about 2 p.m. that a person was shot in the area of the 700 block of Reynolds Avenue.
Stelly said the victim, later identified as Victor Sias, was taken by Acadian Ambulance to a local hospital.
Detectives arrested Frederick Milson, 65, of Rayne, shortly after the shooting.
Milson is being booked into the Acadia Parish Jail for attempted second degree murder.
