Title: Anchor
Jhorchak@kadn.com

Jeff comes to News 15 after spending two years as evening anchor at KNOE-TV in Monroe. During his time in Northeast Louisiana, he scored an exclusive one-on-one with President Donald Trump. Jeff graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a B.S. degree in Mass Communication.

Jeff is no stranger to Lafayette and Acadiana. He spent 12 years in the Hub City as an award winning morning news anchor and reporter as well as sports anchor. During his first stint in Lafayette, Jeff covered the Saints victory in Super Bowl XLIV in Miami. He also reported live on the scene at the Grand Theatre in the aftermath of the tragic shooting in 2015. Jeff had sportscasting stops in Alexandria, La. and Tyler, Texas as well.

Jeff is thrilled to be back in Lafayette and living in one of the most diverse and fun cities in the country. He and his dog, Trouper, are looking forward to reconnecting with old friends and exploring everything that Acadiana has to offer. Jeff adopted the Lab-Heeler mix as a puppy after he was dumped in a ditch in Breaux Bridge.

If you see Jeff and Trouper out walking the streets of Lafayette, stop and say hello. You might even see him enjoying a good po-boy and a cold one at local restaurants.

You can contact Jeff by email at Jhorchak@kadn.com or connect on Twitter @horchak77 or on Facebook.
