The Westminster Christian Academy volleyball team won their first district championship since 2016, by finishing the 2020 district schedule undefeated with a record of 8-0. The volleyball district consists of Academy of Sacred Heart – Grand Coteau, Northside Christian, St. Edmund's, and Hamilton Christian.

In Coach Keith Leon's second season at the volleyball program's helm, his team finished the season with an overall record of 16-4 and a top 4 seed going into the playoffs. The LHSAA Volleyball playoffs will start the week of November 2 through November 14, 2020.

The Westminster Christian Academy volleyball team has accomplished their regular-season goals by working hard on every aspect of the game and skills, mental toughness, and teamwork. Head Coach Keith Leon stated, "2 Chronicles 15:7 states, "But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded." By believing in the word of God, our team's success was built off of our work ethic and determination. As Ben Hogan put it, "If you can't outplay them, outwork them."

Athletic Director Buddy Turnage said, "I can see a total transformation in our young ladies from the start of the season until now. It is our goal to honor God in every aspect of our life. Athletics is just another avenue for our student-athletes to showcase their love for God."

Westminster Christian Academy's Volleyball team consists of Aaliyah Arvie (9th), Emma Bacilla (12th), Teagan Champagne (11th), Ellisyn Davis (12th), Ada Horton (10th), Carlie Horton (10th), Caroline LaLonde (10th), Madison Lantier (9th), Madison Marks (9th), Emma Moody (11th), Blakelyn Romero (11th), and Anna Ware (8th); Head Coach Keith Leon, Assistant Coaches are Tonya Leon and Olivia Cunningham.

The Lady Crusaders JV team went undefeated for the season with an impressive 18-0 record, while our Freshmen team showed significant improvement in every game. WCA is very proud of all the girls and looking forward to what is in store for the current and future WCA Crusaders.
