In the late evening hours of September 8, the Westlake Fire Department contacted the SFM to request assistance determining the origin and cause of a house fire located in the 1200 block of Carroll Street.

Deputies learned first responders encountered Ramirez, who was renting the home, upon their arrival on scene. His behavior resulted in transport to a local hospital for evaluation.
