Trick or Treating will be on Saturday October 31st between the hours of 6 PM and 8 PM. Citizens are encouraged to adhere to safety guidelines by not having large group gatherings, wearing mask, using hand sanitizer and practicing social distancing when out .
Due to COVID-19 there will be no North Vermilion homecoming parade in our community next week. This is a directive from the Vermilion Parish School Board.
Tarps are available at City Hall for those individuals that requested through the Vermilion Parish OEP. Hours are 9AM to noon and 1PM to 3PM. Please present ID so we can match the list provided of those requested. We can only give out tarps to those on the list.
The Vermilion Parish Police Jury contractor will be in the community to pick up debris from Hurricane Delta over the next few days and weeks. Please separate your debris between tree , shingle and other building materials. Items must be place by the roadside for them to be picked up.
As you are cleaning up from the storm please remember that burning is not allowed within the Village of Maurice. Please adhere to this.
