Lafayette - Unitech Training Academy is working hard alongside their community partners to help vaccinate Louisiana residents. Not only are they helping train new essential workers to join the allied health field, but Unitech Lafayette is partnering with the Louisiana Department of Health and Ochsner Lafayette General to administer free vaccines to the public.
Their free COVID-19 vaccine event is open to anyone over the age of 12 and takes place at the Unitech Training Academy Campus (3253 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy, Lafayette, LA) on Tuesday, July 27th from 8:30 am – 12 pm and 5:30 – 7 PM. There is no pre-registration required and residents only need to bring their ID. Unitech students will be administering wellness checks by taking vitals for the public. Medicaid and CCAP (Child Care Assistance Programs) representatives will also be on-site to speak with individuals and offer applications.
