LAFAYETTE, LA – Two of Lafayette’s most wanted criminals are in custody after their arrest earlier today, according to Lafayette Police Chief Thomas Glover. Both are suspects wanted for commission of violent crimes.

Several weeks ago, Lafayette Police Department began identifying individuals who were suspected of committing, or being accomplices in violent acts. All of the crimes involved the use of firearms and range from aggravated assault to murder. Lafayette law enforcement agencies regularly collaborate to reduce violence through the removal of violent offenders from the community. Collaboration between agencies has intensified and those efforts led to the arrest of both violent offenders.
