Suspect Arrested in Crowley Armed Robbery

The Crowley Police Department responded to the Valero located at 1764 N. Parkerson Ave. in reference to an armed robbery on March 27, 2020, at approximately 6:30 P.M.

The Crowley Police Department responded to the Valero located at 1764 N. Parkerson Ave. in reference to an armed robbery on March 27, 2020, at approximately 6:30 P.M. The store cashier indicated that the suspect entered the store with a black handgun and demanded an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled the area on foot heading east.

On April 2, an arrest warrant was obtained after learning the identity of the suspect , Domonique Batiste, through crime stopper leads. He was later located and apprehended in Rapieds Parish by Louisiana State Police. The suspect was then extridited to the Acadia Parish Jail and charged with one count of armmed robbery. His bond is set for $250,000.00.
