St. Martinville, LA- Sheriff Becket Breaux announces that yesterday evening, following a short vehicle and subsequent foot pursuit in Parks, LA.; Deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested a suspect wanted in connection with the armed robbery early yesterday morning of a Broussard convenience store. The suspect, who was identified as Isaiah Alexcee, 20, St. Martinville, LA., was also wanted on the below outstanding active arrest warrants and for Failure to Appear on charges unrelated to the armed robbery.
Following his arrest, he was charged as follows:
LA R.S. 14:64 Armed Robbery-Felony
LA R.S. 14:108.1B - Aggravated Flight from an Officer
LA R.S. 14:56B - Criminal Damage to Property
LA R.S. 14:34.2 - Battery of a Police Officer
He was also booked on the following active arrest warrants:
LA R.S. 14:37.1 - Assault by Drive by Shooting
LA R.S. 14:56B - Criminal Damage to Property
LA R.S. 14:130.1 - Obstruction of Justice
LA R.S. 14:95.6 – Firearm-Free Zone
LA R.S. 14:62.2 - Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling
2 Warrants-Failure to Appear
Following his arrest, he was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges. At the time of this release, no bond had been set. Alexcee is also being held for Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office Detectives on the following warrants in connection with the armed robbery of a convenience store yesterday morning in Iberia Parish:
LA. R.S. 14:64–Armed Robbery (2 counts)
LA. R.S. 14:27/14:30–Attempted 1st Degree Murder
