Lafayette, La.-Lafayette Police responded to shots fired in the 100 block of Hebert Road on May 2, 2021 at approximately 12:46 pm. Officers were notified that a male victim had been shot by an unknown suspect. The 19-year-old male victim suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital. The male victim suffered a non-life-threatening injury and was listed in stable condition.

No arrest or suspect information at this time. The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Lafayette Police or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
