Local Attorney, Glenn Armentor stopped by News15 at Noon virtually to share about the upcoming fundraiser for Fath House.

From Faith House:

It's been a tough year for non-profits during the pandemic.
There is a tremendous amount of need. Our income is down
50%, needs are up 70% and domestic violence is up 70%.
- We are putting together a new fundraiser called Serving Hope!
- This is our first-ever volleyball tournament at Volley Beach on
Saturday, September 25th.
- Check in is at 9:30am and plays start at 10:00am
- We are extremely excited that most of our team spots are full
with only a few left.
- We are following all CDC guidelines for this event as well. The
health and safety of our community is very important to us.
- The proceeds from this fundraiser will help Faith House
provide vital services to survivors of domestic violence free of
charge.
- Our organization has seven components; an emergency shelter,
non-residential services, Transitional Housing, Permanent
Supportive Housing, a 24-hour Crisis Line, a Public Education
Program and the Family Justice Center of Acadiana.
- For more information please visit
www.FaithHouseAcadiana.com or on Facebook at Faith House
Acadiana.
