Schoolhouse Safari Hosts Drive-Thru Animal Experience

Schoolhouse Safari is hosting a drive-thru animal experience the whole family will enjoy.

Hop in the car with your friends and/or family and head over to FUMC in Downtown Lafayette on Saturday July 25th. For a fee of only $10/per car (or $20 for any vehicles carrying more than 8 passengers), you'll get a chance to get up close encounters with colorful talkative birds, spikey, furry and hairless mammals, giant beetles and other fascinating insects from The Beetle Experience and, as always, a huge collection of friendly snakes, ancient tortoises and lizards of all shapes and sizes! The amount of social interaction is in YOUR hands; this event can be completely contact free, only rolling your windows down enough to hear the handlers at each station who will be wearing face covers at all times. Although if you prefer, you'll also be welcome to roll your windows down and have the chance to pet almost all of our creatures in a safe, fun and educational manner.
