Opelousas Police investigating after three injured in shooting

According to Opelousas Police Chief Martin McLendon, officers were called to the 600 block of Pulford Street about 12:45 a.m. Tuesday.

OPELOUSAS, La. (KADN) - Three people were shot overnight in Opelousas.

According to Opelousas Police Chief Martin McLendon, officers were called to the 600 block of Pulford Street about 12:45 a.m. Tuesday.

There, they found three people with gunshot wounds.

The chief said that one person's was a non-life threatening injury to the wrist.

The two other people were taken to a Lafayette hospital for treatment.

No information was released regarding suspects.
