“We are proud to sponsor this important event as Dr. Scott provides a timely forecast to the Acadiana Region,” said Jerry Prejean, Acadiana Market President for IBERIABANK. “Dr. Scott’s perspective provides business leaders with the insight to make sound business decisions, particularly as we continue to recover through the impacts presented by COVID-19 and its overall effect on the economy.”

"This is one of the most difficult environments in which to make a forecast. How fast will Lafayette recover from COVID job losses? What will be the recovery pace from Hurricane Ida? Where is the national economy heading under President Biden? Importantly, will the Gulf of Mexico energy market revive after Ida and Biden's energy policies? Will Lafayette's Big 6 and Smaller 7 save the day? It is a foggy future, indeed."

“One Acadiana is proud to keep our investors, members, and partners engaged and informed through our events,” said President and CEO of One Acadiana Troy Wayman. “Dr. Scott’s forecast covering the state and region’s economic landscape will provide insight into where the Lafayette MSA’s economy is headed as we continue to recover from the pandemic, with a focus on the oil and gas industry and other key sectors to watch.”
