NFL Will Require Fans to Wear Masks for 2020 Football Season

Brian McCarthy, the NFL's vice president of communications, announced on Twitter Wednesday that the NFL will require fans to wear masks for the 2020 football season.

Brian McCarthy, the NFL's vice president of communications, announced on Twitter Wednesday that the NFL will require fans to wear masks for the 2020 football season. This news comes a day after the NFL announced that preseason games would be canceled. The NFL previously announced that the first eight rows of seating would be empty for the safety of players, coaches and field staff. The Atlanta Falcons announced they would require masks and also only allow 10,000- 20,000 fans inside of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium this season.
