NAACP and Black Voters Matter to Host Voter Awareness Tour Tomorrow

On Thursday, Oct. 15, a coalition of local organizations, led by the NAACP and Black Voters Matter, will be hosting a voter awareness tour.

On Thursday, Oct. 15, a coalition of local organizations, led by the NAACP and Black Voters Matter, will be hosting a voter awareness tour. The tour will begin at the Guidroz Food Center and conclude at the MLK Center.

In addition to local city and parish elected officials, there will be candidates running for office as well as nationally renowned local musical artists such as Cupid and Connie G.

The tour will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Guidroz Food Center before traveling to UL and Kitchen on Klinton at 9:30 a.m. and ending at the MLK Center at 11:30 a.m.
