LAFAYETTE, La. (KADN) - A third suspect is under arrest, and additional charges have been issued for two others, in a Lafayette Parish homicide case from September 30.
Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Detectives arrested Mitchell Lemaire, 58, on Monday, October 11.
Lemaire is charged with First-Degree Murder in connection with the killing of Cecil Gray, 48.
Three people are facing charges after burned human remains were found in Lafayette Parish Thursday (September 30).
According to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office, Randall Figard and Sarah Johnson are both charged with unlawful destruction of remains.
The remains were identified as those of Cecil Wayne Gray, 48.
LPSO was called about 10:25 a.m. Thursday to the 300 block of Burbank Road. The caller said they found what they thought to be human remains in a burn pile.
