Lafayette Parish School System Offices Close Due to Storms

All Lafayette Parish School System facilities and offices will close Tuesday, August 25, 2020, and remain closed through Wednesday, August 26, 2020.

In anticipation of severe weather and the possible impact to our parish resulting from Tropical Storm Marco and Tropical Storm Laura, all Lafayette Parish School System facilities and offices will close Tuesday, August 25, 2020, and remain closed through Wednesday, August 26, 2020. Please note that this schedule is subject to change depending on the extent of the damage due to the storms and after consulting with local and regional officials to reassess the weather conditions, road closure, etc. To help students learn more about hurricanes and hurricane preparedness, visit the LPSS website
