Lafayette Firefighters Responded to a Reported Commercial Fire

Lafayette firefighters responded to Camellia Condominiums to a reported commercial fire.

Shortly before 4:30 this afternoon Lafayette firefighters responded to Camellia Condominiums to a reported commercial fire. When crew arrived on scene, an electrical panel box was arcing and smoking. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the area around the panel box.

The electrical damage will result in at least four apartments without electrical services. The number of residents impacted is unknown at this time.

No injuries were reported.
