Lafayette Fire Department Announce the Passing of Retired Chief Fire Investigator

The Lafayette Fire Department announced the passing of retired Chief Fire Investigator, Terrence “Buster” Gahn.

LAFAYETTE, La. - The Lafayette Fire Department announced the passing of retired Chief Fire Investigator, Terrence “Buster” Gahn.

Chief Gahn worked for the department 34 years, before retiring in 2016.

Gahn began his career in 1982 as a firefighter, promoted to engineer, captain, then eventually chief over the investigation division.

He was committed to the mission of the fire service: To Save Life and Property.
