LSLBC Seeks to Ensure that Contractors Carry the Proper License When Performing Demolition

Baton Rouge – In light of the current emergency in the western part of our state, the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors (LSLBC) wants to ensure that ONLY licensed contractors with the proper classifications are utilized when performing total demolition and removal of all structures.

ONLY contractors holding one or more of the license classifications below are eligible to bid, contract and/or perform the complete or total demolition and removal of all structures regardless of the project value.

Demolition of Any Residential Structure
Residential License - Residential Building Contractor
Commercial License – Building Construction
Commercial License - Rigging, House Moving, Wrecking, and Dismantling

Demolition of Any Commercial Structure
Commercial License - Building Construction
Commercial License - Rigging, House Moving, Wrecking, and Dismantling
