LDH: 581 new COVID-19 cases, 38 new deaths reported Oct. 19

The Louisiana Department of Health reported 581 new cases of COVID-19 on October 19.

(KADN) - The Louisiana Department of Health reported 581 new cases of COVID-19 on October 19.

They also reported 38 new deaths.

Across the state, 399 people are in hospitals to receive treatment for COVID symptoms. 61 of those are on ventilators.

Since the state started keeping track in 2020, 753,532 cases of COVID have been recorded and 14,388 deaths.
