Broussard, La. - Two companies partnered together to put on a good time for a great cause.
LARC, a non-profit organization that specializes in serving Acadiana residents with developmental disabilities, along with RISE Chiropractic, hosted a 'Reverse Mardi Gras Parade' aimed at gathering donated Mardi Gras beads for next season.

LARC has a bead store, Beads-N-More, which employs some of its clients who rely on the income to make a living.
With the pandemic and many Mardi Gras festivities being canceled, LARC has had to scale back on hours within the store.
This event aimed at helping to alleviate the lack of income for the workers by collecting donated beads so they can sort through them and prepare them for resale.
