Jeanerette Man Allegedly Arrested for Attempted Second Degree Murder

Marshal Deputies responded and assisted The Jeanerette Police Department in regard to a felony arrest warrant for Eldrick Deshone Robertson.

Marshal Deputies responded and assisted The Jeanerette Police Department in regard to a felony arrest warrant for Eldrick Deshone Robertson.

Marshal Martin was advised the warrant was for Attempted Second Degree Murder and Felon in possession of a Firearm.

Upon receiving a tip of  Robertson’s whereabouts, Marshal Deputies and Jeanerette Officers arrived in the  400 block of Druilhet Street, where Robertson was observed sitting on a bench outside the residence.

Deputies and Officers surround the residence and after getting verbal consent from the homeowner, Robertson was located in one of the bedroom closets. Robertson was taken into custody without further incident and booked into the Jeanerette City Jail
