UPDATE : I-10 Westbound at the Texas State Line Now Clear After Crash Involving an 18- Wheeler

UPDATE: The crash has been cleared and I-10 is now OPEN. However, motorists can expect delays as congestion clears and Troopers work to clear stalled vehicles.

Texas authorities are investigating a crash on I-10 near the state line involving an 18-wheeler. At this time I-10 Westbound at the Texas state line is closed and is expected to remain closed for several hours.

Motorists approaching Vinton should watch for stopped traffic and expect delays. Traffic will be diverted north onto LA 109 then west onto LA 12.

Before reaching the congested area, motorists may take LA 27 north to LA 12 as a detour route.
