Hurricane Debris Pickup Completed in Lafayette Parish

Specialized trucks outfitted to collect debris have completed two passes throughout Lafayette Parish and are no longer collecting debris.

Lafayette, LA – Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) storm debris pickup from hurricanes Laura and Delta is transitioning. Specialized trucks outfitted to collect debris have completed two passes throughout Lafayette Parish and are no longer collecting debris.

Residents who have not yet hauled debris to the curb, or those who believe their pickup was missed should call 337-291-8529 to request collection.

LCG urges residents who still have debris, to move it to the curb as soon as possible. Collection is winding down and is expected to be completed within 30 days.

Hurricane Laura left behind 31,222 cubic yards of debris and Hurricane Delta, 387,670 cubic yards.
