High school football is on track to begin October 8, 2020. At today's Louisiana House Education Committee meeting, LHSAA Director Eddie Bonine says he'll recommend to executive committee that football begins as planned. According to the baton Rouge Advocate Bonine says it's better to play football because it will keep kids from congregating in large groups doing other things. to get ready, there's a chance contact practices and scrimmages begin next week. There's talks to allow fans at 50 percent capacity.
