Eunice - Four inmates at the Eunice City Jail have been transferred to the St. Landry Parish jail after a disturbance Wednesday.
Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot tells News15 the inmates "caused a little incident" in the jail by tossing trash from trash bags and flooding the floors of cells.

Fontenot adds that since their transfer to Opelousas, "it's been quiet at the jail -- the quietest it's been in years."

Mikeo Sha Hollier, 30, Garrett James Miller, 31, Robert John Veillon II, 33, and David Joseph Leblanc, 31, are each facing a charge of inciting a riot, which is a felony offense. The quartet had all previously been jailed in Eunice on misdemeanor charges.
