Eunice Police: 15-year-old in custody, charges for involvement in Sunday shootings

Charges will include contempt of court and possession of a firearm by a juvenile.

EUNICE, La. (KADN) - A 15-year-old boy is in custody of the Eunice Police and facing multiple charges.

According ot Chief Randy Fontenot, the teen was originally being held as a runaway. He was also identified as a passenger in a vehicle that fled the scene of a Sunday (Jan. 9) night shooting.

While the teen was already charged with contempt of court and possession of a firearm by a juvenile, he's also now facing a count of attempted first-degree murder.

The driver of the vehicle in Sunday's incident, Ray-zne Ivory, remains in custody.
