Lafayette, LA – The summer EatLafayette campaign kicks off with a Taste of EatLafayette event tonight at the Cajundome Convention Center. Louisiana-founded Waitr is the title sponsor of the local event that runs from 5:30pm-8:30pm. The tasting event is also held in conjunction with the Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off.
The Taste of EatLafayette offers a chance to sample cuisine from local restaurants, while watching chefs from around the state to compete for the title of Louisiana Seafood King/Queen.
Some of the participating restaurants for tonight’s event includes Antoni’s, Bon Temps Grill, Poor Boy’s Riverside Inn, Graze Acadiana, Handy Stop Market & Café, Baba Kabab, Zeus, Agave, Pit Stop BBQ, Café Josephine, Fezzo's Seafood, Steakhouse & Oyster Bar, Café Lola, The Cajun Table, Prejean's Restaurant, Dean-O's Pizza, Hub City Diner, La Pizzeria, Randol’s Restaurant, Judice Inn, Acadian Superette, Social Southern Table & Bar, Tchoup’s MIDCITY Smokehouse, Charley G's Seafood Grill, Marcello's Wine Market Café, Nosh Gather & Graze, Sandra’s Cafe & Health Food Store, BJ's Poor Boys and Plate Lunches, Olde Tyme Grocery Inc, and Rêve Coffee Roasters/Rêve Coffee Lab.
This is the sixth straight year Waitr has participated in the EatLafayette, with the event holding a special meaning for the company.
