Easter Egg Hunt

An Easter Egg Hunt is being held at the Yambilee Building on April 1, 2021 from 6PM-7PM. The Easter Egg Hunt ifs for children ages 12 months to 10 years old. Refreshments will be available. The event is sponsored by the St. Landry Parish Government and Justus.


Easter Eggstravaganza

Easter Eggstravaganza will start with an Easter Egg hunt. There will also be contests and chances to win discounts and prizes throughout the day! The event is being held by the Lafayette Habitat for Humanity ReStore 3123 1/2 Johnston St, Lafayette, LA 70503, United States on Saturday at 9:45 AM CDT. The event is free and open to the public.

The Easter Bunny returns to the City of Scott on Saturday, April 3 on a fire engine!!!!

He plans to ride on top of the fire truck from 2:00 P.M. till 6:30 P.M  waving as he passes by.

Unfortunately, he can't stop to meet and greet because of COVID, but he's looking forward to seeing every resident from atop the truck.

The sirens will be blowing, and lights will be flashing, so it should be an exciting afternoon!


Good Friday Prayer Parade Traffic Advisory

Lafayette, LA – Drivers might experience heavier than normal traffic on Good Friday, April 2, as a Prayer Parade procession will cover multiple areas of Lafayette. Pastors and community leaders will drive from location to location, listed below, to pray and observe the Stations of the Cross. The event is open to the public.
