Duson Police Identify Suspects in Camper Theft

UPDATE: Chief of Police Kip Judice says thanks to a Crime Stoppers tip the camper has been recovered suspects identified. Arrests are pending at this time.


Duson Police are investigating the theft of a bumper pull Jay Feather Camper which was stolen from the 8800 block of Cameron Street in Duson on Monday February 22, 2021, the camper was being pulled north bound on Richfield from Anderson which was confirmed by video.

At the time of the theft the camper had Louisiana license plate J656854.

The suspect vehicle was captured on Video Cameras and appears to be a green Dodge Pickup Truck with 3 tool boxes in the bed of the truck one on either side wall and one across the back. The vehicle has no license plate and was occupied by 2 males.

Prior to the theft the suspect vehicle is captured at a local casino.
