Divers Recover The Body of Sixth Seacor Power Crewmember

Divers searching the Seacor Power wreckage site in the Gulf of Mexico have recovered the body of a sixth crew member.

(KADN) - Divers searching the Seacor Power wreckage site in the Gulf of Mexico have recovered the body of a sixth crew member. The Lafourche Parish Coroner identifying the crewman late Tuesday as 31-year-old Quinon Pitre of Franklin according to the niece of Quinon Pitre.

Seacor is now leading the search along with the United Cajun Navy who is using seaplanes to help look for any signs of the reaminng crew members.

This after the coast guard suspended search and rescue efforts monday evening. There are now 6 known dead, 6 survivors and 7 missing from the 19-man crew who were aboard the vessel that capsized one week ago yesterday.
