Crowley Gun Violence

A stop the violence rally and demonstration today in Crowley all to bring awareness to the ongoing issues in the city.

Earlier this week crowley police responded to two separate shootings that occured within minutes of one another that injured two people.

Today the community gathered for a rally in crowley to put an end to the senseless gun violence

I spoke with pastor lawrence levy and he says that he wants to encourage people to think the right way in tough situations.

During the rally there were healthcare workers, police officiers and demonstrators who talked about things such as police brutality and the devastation of gun violence pastor levy says that he wants to send out a very important message.

I spoke with a family member of the 21-year-old that was shot 7 times earlier this week and she says when it comes to gun violence enough is enough.

The 21-year-old victim is still in the hospital and it remains unknown if the shootings we're related.
