New Roads, LA - Given the COVID-19 delta variant outbreak, the City of New Roads has announced the cancellation of Harvest Festival 2021. The cancellation of the three-day celebration scheduled October 16–October 18 was not an easy decision, but the health and safety of the public remain paramount.

“It’s the most responsible thing we can do for the public,” stated Mayor Dukes. “We waited as long as we could to see if the trend in COVID-19 cases in the state would look more positive. We feel it is best to postpone the event another year out of concern for the health of our guests, entertainers, staff, volunteers, and vendors. See you guys in 2022.”

City of New Roads would like to thank the thousands of faithful festival goers who have supported this event.
