Lafayette, LA - Cité des Arts will be holding in person auditions for Oscar Wilde’s brilliant comedy The Importance of Being Earnest, on June 23 and 24 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. each evening, at Cité des Arts, 109 Vine Street in downtown Lafayette. The show will be directed by Margot Hasha, and will run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from August 20 to 29th, with rehearsals beginning on June 30th.

We will be casting all roles, except for the role of Lady Bracknell, and the age ranges are females 18 and up and males 25 and up. The audition will consist of readings from the script. If you have a classical monologue prepared, we will be glad to hear it. The ability to do a British accent well is a plus. For any questions, or more information, call Cité des Arts at (337) 291-1122 or email danny@citedesarts.org.
