Lafayette, LA (KADN) -- The Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team hasn't lost since January 1st. Garry Brodhead's team is on an 11 game winning streak. Still every team need a rest and the cold weather gave the team some additional time off before going on the road to Arlington to play the Mavericks in Texas.
"I think it worked out really well for us," Brodhead said. "We haven't taken off since a day in a two week period and we were playing those extra games. Sunday we took off but we planned on taking it. Monday wee were off anyway."

"We were going to have the gym open for anyone that wanted to shoot on their own, but they needed some time off. It is suppose to be cleared up by Wednesday or Thursday, Brodhead said. "I think we travel on Thursday."
The Cajuns can't avoid the cold weather even with traveling. The weather is supposed to be in the mid 30s in Arlington on Friday. With two more wins this season, the Cajuns can clinch the Sun Belt west division. Coach Brodhead says he just focused on at least getting a split in the next two series on the road.
