Lafayette, LA (KADN)-- For the third straight season the Ragin' Cajuns are in the Sun Belt Conference title game. This time around they face Coastal Carolina. Coach Napier's team spent the past week working on themselves. Coach Napier likes to call it sharpening your sword. They've been preparing for Coastal Carolina since Saturday.

"It's just more fuel to the fire," linebacker Ferrod Garner said. " You say you want to be great, so we come in here everyday and we work. We work our tails off so this is another opportunity for us to come out and show the world. They're a great team I just know we want it more."

"We're just trying to focus on the present," head coach Billy Napier said. "We played that game and we learned from that game. We've moved forward after that game. We have focused on improvement. Each week along this journey since then we have had plans for improvement for the older players to get better and the younger players to develop."

Coastal Carolina is painting itself as the underdog in this game, but the Ragin' Cajuns players say they don't care wo is perceived as the underdog. They just want to win. Kickoff for Saturday's championship is at 2:30pm in Conway, South Carolina. The Ragin' Cajuns have lost the championship game the past two seasons.
