Lafayette, LA (KADN) -- The Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball team is making the push for the NCAA Tournament. They begin Sun Belt conference tournament play Saturday because they are the 2nd ranked team in the conference and qualified for a bye in the first round. The Cajuns play the winner of South Alabama and ULM.  Marlin outlined the formula for his team to win three straight games and advance to March Madness.

"We have to make shots," Ragin' Cajuns head coach Bob Marlin said. "The team that plays well together and together defensively makes shots, plays well together when they don't play at their best can win the tournament for sure."

"We went in as a three seed a few years back and we won the tournament," Marlin said. We shot it good the first night, and the second night we broke open a close game in the second half to win, and then came from behind to win in the championship game to win. It is wide open at this point."
