The Lafayette parish sheriff's office has launched an investigation into possible sexual abuse within the ranks of the boy scouts. One person under investigation is attorney Barry Rozas of Lafayette, Louisiana.

I spoke with attorney Gary Mcgoffin who's a volunteer on the council of the board of directors for BSA (Boy Scouts of America) and he says Rozas hasn't been active with a youth organization for some time.

Rozas was charged with first degree rape. Investigators are looking into 28 possible cases over the span of 57 years from 1955 to 2012.
