Boil water advisory issued for several area throughout Opelousas has been Lifted.

UPDATE- According to Mayor Alsandor of Opelousas, The Boil Advisory for those residents located along Jefferson, Court , Market and Foulard Streets has been lifted and rescinded.

OPELOUSAS, LA - Several city water line repairs were performed around the city of Opelousas resulting in boil water advisories for several residents. 

The area of Jefferson, Court, and Foulard Streets will likely experience low water pressure or water outage. This is due to several issues with the water lines in this area. The repairs have been completed. Please be advised that these affected homes will be under a boil water advisory until further notice.
