Lafayette,LA- The Board of Directors of the Better Business Bureau of Acadiana, officially announced a new leadership and management structure, including the appointment of Jillian Dickerson as President/Chief Executive Office and Chris Babin as Vice President/Chief Operations Officer.
Dickerson brings her experience in public relations, non-profits, economic development, programming and passion for the Acadiana community to the role.
Dickerson said, “I’m honored to join the exceptional team at Better Business Bureau in our mission of advancing trust in the marketplace, for businesses and consumers. Integrity and ethical behavior in our business community is more important than ever.”
Babin, a Marine veteran whose diverse background includes service, operations, and company management, expertly led the organization through the management transition period. His skillset is the right fit to continue successfully and strategically managing the operations of the organization as it reaches new heights in the years to come.
Babin said, “Serving the community through the BBB over nearly the past two years has allowed me to remain committed to my lifelong passion of helping and assisting others. With the growth of our team, I look forward to continuing in these endeavors as we, together, further expand our footprint in and impact on the Acadiana community.”
The appointments are effective immediately.
