All Calcasieu Parish School Board schools and facilities will be closed Wednesday, February 17. "With temperatures not rising above freezing today, we do not believe that road conditions will be safe for travel tomorrow morning. We’ve consulted with emergency and weather officials in our area, and we feel that this decision is in the best interest of safety for all faculty, staff, and students." Calcasieu Parish School Board officials will continue to monitor the weather and will notify families tomorrow February 17, 2021 as to the status of school on Thursday, February 18.
