On September 17, 2020 officers responded to a “Missing Persons” call at Stonebridge apartment complex. Officers spoke to the complainant, Stephanie Prejean, who stated that her 17-year-old son, Logan Byron, had ran away from home the day before.
Officers were advised that Logan got angry and left home on a bicycle after his mother had corrected him regarding his cell phone.
Byron Logan was entered into the N.C.I.C. database as a runaway. Officers have attempted to locate Mr. Logan through numerous contacts, including a girlfriend who lives in New Iberia.
Since that time, Byron has been in contact with his mother via telephone but has not returned home.
The Abbeville Police Department and the family of Byron Logan is asking for the public’s help in locating him and returning him to his family. The public is asked to contact the Abbeville Police Department with any information that may lead to locating and returning Byron Logan to his family.
