AT&T and Verizon Extending Relief to Customers Who May be Affected by Hurricane Delta

As Hurricane Delta prepares to make landfall along the Louisiana coastline, AT&T and Verizon are extending relief to its customers in affected areas.

AT&T Response to Hurricane Delta:

As Hurricane Delta prepares to make landfall, AT&T is extending relief to AT&T Wireless and AT&T PREPAID customers who may be affected by Hurricane Delta. The company will be waiving data overage charges for customers in 455 zip codes across Louisiana from Oct. 9 to Oct. 13.

To make this possible, they will be automatically waiving service charges for AT&T wireless customers with billing addresses and AT&T PREPAID customers with phone numbers in directly impacted zip codes.

Customers in these areas may still receive alerts during this time, but accounts will reflect the credits and/or waived data, voice and text charges. View Zip Codes and other information on AT&T's response to Hurricane Delta here.

Verizon Response to Hurricane Delta:

Additionally, Verizon is providing unlimited calling, texting and data to customers in the following parishes and counties:

Louisiana: Acadia, Allen, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron, Evangeline, Iberia, Jefferson Davis, Lafayette, Rapides, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, Vermilion, VernonThis will begin Friday, Oct. 9 and run through Thursday, Oct. 15.

Texas: Jefferson

The offer runs through October 15.
