(KADN) - Opelousas tourism is excited to announce the unveiling of another boxed art transformation of traffic boxes into vibrant displays. The eighth boxed art features artwork by Theon Guillory of Opelousas.

Guillory was named the winner of the Daily Advertiser's Mardi Gras Cover and was later selected as the poster artist for Games of Acadiana.

Guillory says, "Being that this is my hometown, and I travel this Highway 190 all the time going home and to and from back to work. Its a motivational thing to pass and see my art on that box".

Boxed art helps to showcase the community's character and culture, enhance public spaces and highlight artist and their talents in the area.
