As of Wednesday, August 18, 2021, according to the Louisiana Department of Health, Louisiana has 638,443 COVID-19 cases across the state with 11,793 deaths resulting from COVID-19.

Louisiana (KADN) - As of Wednesday, August 18, 2021, according to the Louisiana Department of Health, Louisiana has 638,443 COVID-19 cases across the state with 11,793 deaths resulting from COVID-19.

According to the latest LA Dept. of Health data, There is just ONE ICU bed available in all of Lafayette, Evangeline, Saint Landry, Acadia, Saint Martin, Iberia, Vermilion and Saint Mary Parishes.
