Officials with Hunters for the Hungry mark Clean Out Your Freezer Day as a success! " Thank you to everyone that helped us promote Clean Out Your Freezer Day!" The organization has collected over 24,000 lbs of protein (with 1 drop-off in Natchitoches left to go). "That's impressive, especially considering the effects of Hurricane Laura and so many eating from their freezers during the quarantine. We're in awe!"
