2021 Scott Boudin Festival is Postponed until Spring of 2022

SCOTT, La. - The Scott Boudin Festival Board of Directors along with the City of Scott Mayor, Jan-Scott Richard, released the following statement on postponement of the Scott Boudin Festival:

It is with a heavy heart that the Scott Boudin Festival Board of Directors, along with theCity of Scott, notify you that the 8th Annual Scott Boudin Festival currently scheduled forSeptember 24,25 &26,2021 will be POSTPONED to the Spring of 2022.

The Scott Boudin Festival Board of Directors and the City of Scott have closely monitoredthe current surge of Covid 19 Delta Variant now facing the State of Louisiana and the Acadiana area. Following the recommendations and instructions of the Governor, the Louisiana Department of Health, and the Scott Police Department we feel it is the most prudent course ofaction.

We continue to be humbled by the overwhelming and continued support we receive fromeach of you, our sponsors and vendors. We are confident that you will be understanding of thisdifficult decision which has been made. Due to the growing uncertainty of this situation we feelpostponement is in the best interest of our community, volunteers, sponsors, vendors and ourfestival attendees. We look forward to seeing all of you in the Spring of 2022, when we returnbringing you an event of the quality and caliber to which our visitors are accustomed.
